Blue Prince is a brand-new video game by publisher Raw Fury that has amazed players and critics all over the world. It’s not just a game about solving puzzles—it’s a game full of surprises, mystery, and discovery. One tricky part in the game is the Reservoir, a giant water-filled area deep underground. Let’s talk about how to drain it, and why Blue Prince is now being called one of the best games of the year.
Where Is the Reservoir in Blue Prince?
In Blue Prince, the Reservoir is a huge underground space that splits the world into two parts. At first, it’s full of water. Your goal is to drain all the water using the controls inside the Pump Room. But there’s a catch! The Pump Room won’t show up until you’ve added a Pool room to your house. So remember to draft that Pool first.
There are 14 levels of water, and you need to bring it down to zero. But the main tanks in the Pump Room can’t hold that much water. That’s where the reserve tank comes in. To use it, you must first power it by turning on the Boiler Room.
You need to connect the Boiler Room to the Pump Room using rooms with special ducts (like Gym or Archives). If you set everything right, the reserve tank will help you drain the Reservoir completely. You can also use an Aquarium with an Electric Eel to power the tank if you don’t have a Boiler Room.
Even if you run out of time in one day, your setup will still work the next day when you return.
What Happens After You Drain It?
Once the water is gone, go back to the Reservoir area using the Foundation elevator. You’ll find several locked boxes and clues. Some boxes have keys, others have special items like a Sanctum Key or Allowance Token. Some clues are tricky—like notes that lie or treasure boxes that are not even in the water.
This part of the game is full of secrets and rewards, so make sure you explore every corner!
Why Blue Prince Is So Amazing

In the game, you explore a changing mansion where you pick new rooms like cards. Every choice changes the story and puzzles you find.
Dogubomb Developed game Blue Prince is all about finding hidden clues, solving brain teasers, and slowly discovering the truth behind the mansion. It’s been called the best-reviewed game of 2025, and many people say it’s one of the greatest puzzle games ever made.
