Minecraft players are getting really creative again! A player named Srlorenez has made a simple and fun launcher for the new Happy Ghasts in the game. This new launcher lets players and their Happy Ghasts fly high into the sky super quickly. It’s easy to build, needs only a few parts, and can help players reach big builds or just have some flying fun!
Happy Ghasts are a new kind of mob that were shown during Minecraft LIVE earlier this year. They are not like the scary ghasts in the Nether. Instead, Happy Ghasts are friendly and cute. Players can even put a saddle on them and ride them across the sky! To get a Happy Ghast, players first need to find dried ghast blocks in the Nether. After that, they must bring the blocks back to the Overworld and put them in water to turn them into little baby ghastlings. Then, players can feed them snowballs to help them grow into full-size Happy Ghasts.
The launcher that Srlorenez made is very smart. It only needs four dispensers, a pressure plate, wind charges, and a hole filled with water. The dispensers are placed around a 1×1 hole that is three blocks deep. When a player jumps into the hole and steps on the pressure plate, the dispensers shoot out wind charges. This makes the player and their Happy Ghast shoot up into the air! The water in the hole helps slow the player down so that the leash holding the Happy Ghast doesn’t break.

This launcher is not just fun — it’s really useful too! If a player is building something really big, they can land their Happy Ghast nearby. Then, when they need more blocks or tools, they can go down to the ground, grab what they need, and quickly fly back up using the launcher. This saves a lot of time and makes big building projects much easier.
People are really loving the new Happy Ghasts. Even though they are only in the preview versions of Minecraft right now, fans are excited to use them in their worlds. Thanks to players like Srlorenez, the Minecraft community keeps finding new and awesome ways to have fun with them. It’s clear that Happy Ghasts will be a big part of Minecraft’s future, helping players reach the skies and build amazing things!
