Sea of Thieves x Destiny 2 Crossover Brings Epic New Gear!

Sea of Thieves has officially launched a crossover with Destiny 2, introducing a variety of in-game items inspired by Bungie’s popular sci-fi shooter. The collaboration, which had been rumored for months, was in development since 2023 and is now available for players to enjoy.

Destiny 2, released in 2017 by Bungie, allows players to step into the role of Guardians who protect humanity’s Last City from dangerous enemies. Meanwhile, Sea of Thieves, developed by Rare and launched in 2018, offers players the chance to become pirates, sail the seas, and face legendary threats like the Kraken and the Megalodon. Now, these two worlds are coming together in a unique way.

The new update brings several bundles for players to purchase, featuring ship cosmetics based on Destiny 2’s Guardian classes. The Lightbearer Ship Bundle includes a collector’s figurehead, sails, hull, and flag, designed after the Ghost, the robotic companion in Destiny 2. Additionally, the Mighty, Silent, and Wise bundles allow players to customize their ships with items inspired by the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock classes, respectively. For those looking for the ultimate collection, the Lightbearer Big Bundle combines all these items into one massive package.

In addition to the bundles, players can buy individual customization items such as collector’s figureheads, sails, and weapons. The Lightbearer weapon bundle includes four weapons modeled after iconic Destiny 2 exotics: Lord of Wolves, Ergo Sum, Whisper of the Worm, and Ace of Spades. Players can also purchase the Lightbearer costume set, which features a stylish blue coat with red details, a green shirt, and large shoulder pads, giving their pirate a distinct Guardian-inspired look.
