The new action game The First Berserker: Khazan is getting a lot of attention, but players need to be careful! The game’s developer, Neople, has warned about a bug that can make your character weaker if you use a special item in the wrong way.
The problem happens when players use the Primeval Regression Orb, an item that lets them reset their level and stats. If a player uses this item while wearing the pre-order Hero’s Weapon and Armor set, the game miscalculates stats, causing some points to drop below normal levels. This could make the game harder than it should be!
The bug affects how the game calculates stat upgrades using an in-game resource called Lacrima. Some players have even reported their stats dropping below the minimum level of 10, making it difficult to progress in the game.
The issue occurs because the pre-order Hero’s Weapon and Armor set gives a +5 bonus to all stats. When players use the Primeval Regression Orb multiple times in a row, the game gets confused and incorrectly reduces their stats instead of resetting them properly.

Until a fix is released, Neople suggests a temporary solution. Players should:
- Avoid using the Primeval Regression Orb too quickly in succession.
- Complete a mission, move to a new area, or restart the game before using the Orb again.
Neople has assured players that they are working on a permanent fix and will provide an update as soon as possible. In the meantime, players should be extra careful when resetting their stats to avoid losing valuable points.
The First Berserker: Khazan will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, GeForce Now, and Microsoft Windows.
